At India Tiger Tour, we aim to deliver smooth and comfortable travel experiences to all our guests. Since most of our bookingsāespecially Ranthambore Safari bookingsāare processed through government portals and third-party service providers, cancellations and refunds are governed by strict policies.
Please read the following guidelines carefully before making a booking.
1. Safari Booking Cancellation Policy (Ranthambore Tiger Reserve)
All Ranthambore Safari permits (Gypsy/Canter) are issued by the Government of Rajasthan Forest Department and are 100% non-refundable and non-transferable.
Once a safari is booked with your details:
- It cannot be cancelled
- It cannot be modified
- No refund will be provided by the Forest Department or by India Tiger Tour
- This applies to:
- Gypsy Safari
- Canter Safari
- Full-Day / Half-Day Safari
- Zone-specific bookings
- Shared or private safari bookings
Important: If the Forest Department cancels the safari due to reasons like weather, VIP movement, emergency, etc., the refund is processed as per government rules, not by India Tiger Tour.
2. Hotel Booking Cancellation Policy
Hotel cancellation rules vary by property.
In general:
If cancelled 7 days before check-in:
š¢ 70% refund (after deducting processing charges)
If cancelled 3ā6 days before check-in:
š” 50% refund
If cancelled within 48 hours of check-in:
š“ No refund
Note: Some hotels may follow a strict āNo Refundā policy during peak seasons (OctoberāJune). Please check the hotelās specific policy before booking.
3. Tour Package Cancellation Policy
Tour packages include stays, safaris, transportation, and additional services.
Therefore, cancellations are processed as follows:
Cancellation by Customer
- 30 days before travel date: 75% amount refundable
- 15ā29 days before travel date: 50% amount refundable
- 7ā14 days before travel date: 25% amount refundable
- Less than 7 days before travel date: No refund
Non-Refundable Components
The following charges are always non-refundable:
- Safari permit charges
- Government entry fees
- Service charges
- Payment gateway fees
- Tax amounts already deposited
- Hotel bookings marked as ānon-refundableā
4. Taxi / Transportation Booking Cancellation Policy
- 24 hours before travel: 80% refund
- Less than 24 hours: No refund
- If the vehicle has already dispatched (even partially), only fuel charges may be deducted from the refund amount.
5. Cancellation Due to Unforeseen Circumstances
India Tiger Tour is not responsible for cancellations caused by:
- Natural calamities (rain, storm, flood, etc.)
- Government orders
- VIP movement
- Restricted entry
- Strike, lockdown, or emergency
- Wildlife departmentās internal decisions
Refunds (if applicable) will be processed as per the policies of the concerned authority.
6. Refund Processing Time
- Refunds are usually processed within 7ā14 working days.
- Payments made through UPI, net banking, or wallets may take 3ā7 days.
- Payments made through credit/debit cards might take 7ā14 days as per bank guidelines.
7. No-Show Policy
If a customer fails to reach the safari pickup point/hotel on time:

The booking will be considered a No-Show

No refund or rescheduling will be allowed
(as safari permits and hotel vouchers are already issued)
8. Changes & Modifications
Once safari permits or hotel vouchers are issued, modifications such as:
- Change of traveler names
- Change of dates
- Change of safari zone
- Change of vehicle (Gypsy/Canter)
are not allowed as per Forest Department & hotel rules.
